We have all seen all kinds of things in the signature of emails, and one of the biggest questions I get is, "How do I add social media icons in my Outlook signature?"
Thanks to Microsoft, there is no straight forward directions to adding icons and the such to your signature, but it is a pretty simple process. First, let's address the background on what we are going to do.
You must embed the image, not insert.
Most mail servers are not very fond of automatically downloading images, but many will give you problems if the image is just inserted. Also, this increases the size of your emails, which can start to be a problem if you are not using well optimized images in your signature. To eliminate all of these problems you must embed a file that is sitting on a public web server. This allows for the email to download the file from the web, so you are sending a huge file across in the email. With that said, let's look at the step-by-step process.
